Next Of Kin: Born in East Flanders, Belgium on 12.12.1884. Arrived in NZ 1900, worked on farms around Waikato. Served four years during WWI. Spent six months in 1920 as part of the Samoa Garrison. After the war worked for the Public Works, farmed, and in the Waikato coal mines. Naturalised on 1.10.1947 and after retirement came to Woodville in 1951.

Died 16-02-54 at Woodville aged 69

Buried at Woodville Old Gorge Cemetery, grave reference Ext Block 5A
