Next Of Kin: There is an inscription on the family grave in the Old Gorge Cemetery, Woodville. George served in the Boer War sailing from NZ on 20 January 1900. He served in WWI and died from pneumonia in England in December 1918. Before enlisting he was a post office cadet in Woodville. He was awarded a Military Medal.
