Next Of Kin: Born in Wellington. After leaving school worked at Foxton Flax Mills. In France he was at Ypres and the Somme and was at one time a Don R despatch rider. Settled in Wanganui after the war and started bookselling. In the mid 1930s came to Woodville and bought a bookshop, K May Bookseller.
